Recycled PET (RPET)
What is RPET?
PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate. It is lightweight and durable, making it widely used for packaging beverage and water bottles, as well as household goods and medicines.
Why is plastic a problem?
Unlike other materials, plastic is not biodegradable. It takes more than 500 years to decompose, and its residues accumulate on the earth forever.
This pollution can suffocate marine life, damage soil, pollute groundwater, and have serious health consequences.

Why must recycled plastic be used?
PET is almost the only plastic that can be recycled infinitely, which reduces the need to make new PET and reduces emissions. Recycled PET products have been shown to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to virgin PET. Its high recyclability also minimizes the likelihood of ending up in landfills, and today, around 58% of PET bottles in Europe are recycled. We must do our part to prevent used PET bottles from ending up in landfills and to ensure they are recycled into new microfiber products.

WELCRON's Effort
We have devoted our utmost efforts to developing eco-friendly cleaners using polyester yarn recycled from PET bottles.
As environmental regulations strengthen worldwide and demand for sustainable products increases, we have recently developed 100% biodegradable microfiber products.
Since 2018, we have been exporting our eco-friendly cleaner products. Looking ahead, we are committed to introducing more microfiber products that incorporate eco-friendly materials.

GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification ensures that all RPET microfiber products are traceable from the raw material source to the manufacturer, guaranteeing RECYCLED products. One RPET microfiber CLOTH is made from approximately five 500ml PET bottles. This way, we can reduce fossil energy consumption by converting waste into renewable energy.
